For this character I found inspiration thinking of the fashion photos of the 80s and Warhol’s memorable phrase “everyone wants to be famous for about 15 minutes”, actually attributed to the American philosopher David Weinberger.
How to say now “in the future everyone will be famous for fifteen people” or “on the web everyone will be famous for fifteen people”.
In this society, achieving fame quickly seems a must from which one hardly wants to escape. Andy Warhol’s prophetic quote seems to have become an imperative of a reality that celebrates the “beautiful, rich and famous, everything and now”. Except that “sic transit gloria mundi” and “fame volat”, as the Latins would say ..
Perhaps lasting fame is the only property of those who try to create a better way, to express their opinion regarding the objective ugliness we are surrounded by, which mark the cultural evolution of thought, who really do something for others.
