This piece reminds me the process of virtuous circles, made of beauty and passion. It is the function that determines the form, not the other way round, so we will never be separated from our process.
In this work I wanted to establish a dialogic relationship with a recipient thought as a subject as active as me, to whom the gaze of the characters is directed, acting like a darting dart that creates suspense.
None of us can escape the dialectical game of these looks. Through this unsettling image I realize an emotional relationship whose outcome is open. It’s all a matter of looks, lightness, falls, regain strength, new looks. The work has lasted for many years: started ten years ago, then resumed, then readapted, born as if it were to remain incomplete because it will never end, like the circle of Uroboro.
